I've long been interested in the moments when the familiar explanations stop working. A loss, a change in identity, a relationship ending or beginning, a creative calling, a psychedelic or mystical experience. Sometimes the life we understood ourselves to be living no longer quite makes sense and what comes next is even less clear.

My approach to therapy is shaped, in part, by my own experience. I grew up moving between markedly different cultures, becoming familiar with goodbyes and with the peculiar experience of being both at home and out of place. It left me suspicious of tidy prescriptions for how a life should look, and interested instead in the particular logic of each person's world.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent close to two decades as a musician and songwriter. I know the tension between artistic integrity and commercial expectation, the strange arithmetic of success in a subjective field, and what it is to make something while an algorithm quietly waits to judge it. I also know the rarer moments, when the chatter falls away and the thing you are making suddenly feels exactly as it should.

My work draws from narrative therapy, body-based practices, and transpersonal psychology. I approach therapy with curiosity and respect for complexity, without assuming that every uncertainty needs to be resolved. Rather than following a prescribed script, our work becomes an exploration of your world, with your hopes and concerns guiding the way.
